When are Jim and Timlynn available?
As in most attempts to find a sustainable strategy within an inherently unpredictable open system, we try to balance our portfolio lives with a mixture of entrepreneurial business, social action projects and technical industry contract projects.
Our current 'activity spread' looks like this (as of 15 February 2003):
Contract Tech Writing/Programming: Open and available! The tech slump hits independent, free agent contractors especially hard. We've had a couple of scheduled projects fall off the radar. Short, intense projects are welcome through the end of this year. New clients welcome, especially Montana tech companies.
New Business Development: Somewhat (heading to heavily) preoccupied with getting the The Chandler Guild, a Small Is Good Business Web up and running through our strategic partnership with Iowa-based Soyawax.
Social action projects: Very active with Rick Smyre in creating and expanding the web sites that support the projects of the Communities of the Future Network as well as fully engaged in tackling the challenges of 21st century rural life through our involvement in the North American Rural Futures Institute.
Contract web site development projects for non-profits are welcome this Fall and Winter as bandwidth allows. (Discounts apply, but no pro bono work at this time.)
