"Obnova" is the Czech and Slovak word meaning "renew," "recovery," "reconstruction," and "renaissance," among other such "re-" words.
Obnova is a grassroots community organization helping people and organizations to rebuild our lives, our neighborhoods, and our beloved city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa following the Great Flood of 2008.
